Exclusive Right to Sell Listing:
An Exclusive right to sell listing means that you've hired your agent to market your home and represent you and your best interest in the sale of your home, but further more to market your home to other agents in the market and their buyers. When you list it as an Exclusive Right to Sell Listing your house will go on a Multiple Listing Service (known as the MLS).
The MLS is where agents go to search listings of all other brokers and agents in their MLS area. In the Des Moines area there are approximately 1200 agents. That's 1200 agents that will have access to your listing and will have your house in their database for their qualified buyers.
